The Ichthys LNG project, in Browse Basin, off the Western Australian Coast, showed to be a world class project.
This field was discovered in 2000, and since then, most of estimations made have increased up to 12,8 TCF of gas and 527 million barrels, with high condensate contents.
The Ichthys project will bring important social and economical benefits to Australia. It will bring new jobs, training opportunities, business opportunities, new infrastructures and advanced technologies – and it will contribute to increasing construction capacity for the national energy industry.
